DNS is based on developmental kinesiology and the integration of both neurophysiological and biomechanical principles.
Insufficient activation of the diaphragm and the pelvic floor during breathing, will lead to inappropriate intra-abdominal pressure, which can disturb stabilisation patterns of the spine.
What to expect
At your first DNS visit, we will:
Assess your movement patterns using motion analysis software
Perform DNS tests to consider the quality of your movement and ability to stabilise yourself under dynamic load
Begin treatment using the Developmental Kinesiology Model
